October 24, 2007, Manchester, NH— The law firm of McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton, Professional Association congratulates Sen. Joseph Foster, a Director with the firm since 1991, for recently being presented with the Friend of Business Award by the Business and Industry Association.
The award, presented last week at the firm’s new office located at the Capital Commons complex in Concord, was given to Senator Foster in recognition of his “leadership and dedication to New Hampshire’s business community,” according to BIA president Jim Roche. Specifically, Foster was honored for his efforts in supporting a research and development tax credit, the bill for which was passed into law earlier this summer.
Foster currently serves as Senate majority leader, chairman of the Judiciary Committee and vice chairman of the Education Committee. He also is a member of the Capital Budget Committee, and serves on the Board for the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce. He is part of McLane’s Real Estate Department, and serves as Chair of its Bankruptcy practice.
