McLane Middleton attorneys Adam M. Dumville and Rebecca S. Walkley will be part of a panel discussion at the NH Bar Association’s upcoming CLE, “What’s New in Environmental Law?” on March 30, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET.
As part of the presentation, experienced environmental attorneys and professionals will discuss what’s new in environmental law. Questions that will be answered include: What cities and towns are forming stormwater utilities? Will offshore wind blow us away? Are we worried about residual designation authority? Want to meet the new Dept. of Energy? How sunny is the solar forecast? What’s going on with environmental justice in the Granite State?
This program is geared towards those who focus on the field of environmental, real estate, energy, and municipal law throughout New Hampshire. Practitioners at all levels of experience should benefit from this CLE because of the “hot topics” nature of the presentations.
Adam is an environmental and energy director where he assists clients in matters involving environmental permitting, compliance counseling, energy facility siting, and defense of enforcement actions. Prior to joining McLane Middleton, Adam served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office in Boston, Massachusetts. Rebecca is an associate in the Administrative Law Department where she advises clients in State, federal and municipal, environmental and energy regulatory and litigation cases. Rebecca has been counsel in several large energy facility projects before the New Hampshire Site Evaluation Committee including a nine-turbine wind farm and several utility-scale electric transmission projects. Rebecca handles permitting and enforcement cases before the Department of Environmental Services and the USEPA involving the Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, the New Hampshire Shoreland Protection Act and wetlands regulations as well as site remediation and monitoring under Superfund and analogous State waste regulatory programs.
