Gena is a member of the firm’s Corporate Department. She focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions transactions, securities law counseling matters, and general business representation. She also works closely with boards of non-profits, including independent day and boarding schools, on governance matters.

Gena’s broad range of prior experience as a Biglaw lawyer, member of an in-house investment team, and consultant to privately held companies provides her with a deep understanding of the legal issues that clients face.

Gena earned her J.D. from Duke University School of Law. She attended Cornell University College of Arts and Sciences, earning her B.A. with Distinction, Summa Cum Laude, and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.
