Manchester, NH & Woburn, Mass. (May 30, 2023) – The law firm of McLane Middleton is pleased to announce the hiring of attorneys Bridget M. Moran, Catherine E. Napjus and Joshua D. Sandler.
Bridget is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Department where she advises businesses on transactional matters related to mergers and acquisitions, contract drafting, entity formation and corporate governance. Prior to joining McLane Middleton, Bridget was working at a general practice law firm in Downtown Boston. Bridget attended Suffolk University Law School where she graduated in 2020. During her time in law school Bridget was a Judicial Intern at the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts (District of Massachusetts) for the Honorable Frank J. Bailey. She also enjoyed being Co-Treasurer of the Suffolk University Women’s Law Association and a Student Attorney in the Innocence Clinic, working in tandem with the Innocence Project, an organization which provides pro bono legal help to incarcerated individuals who have held out their actual innocence and have exhausted their appeals. Catie is an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group, where she focuses her practice on patent preparation and prosecution and trademark prosecution and enforcement. From solo inventors to corporations with worldwide operations, Catie’s interesting clients teach her cutting edge technology from a broad array of fields. While developing and enforcing her clients’ intellectual property portfolios, Catie has gained experience with domestic and international patents and trademarks, as well as copyrights, licensing, and domain names. She received her J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law and her B.A. in chemistry from Cornell University. Josh is an associate in the firm’s Tax Department. He has advised a wide range of clients—from Fortune 500 companies to tax-exempt organizations to individuals—on tax controversy and transactional matters. Josh has helped clients resolve issues with the IRS in the audit, appeals, Tax Court, collections, and private ruling contexts. He has represented clients in diverse transactions involving federal and state tax issues, strategic mergers & acquisitions, private fund launches and investments, taxable and tax-free structures, partnerships and corporations, and foreign and domestic parties. Prior to joining McLane Middleton, Josh was a tax associate at Sidley Austin in Chicago. Prior to attending law school, Josh served four years of active duty as an infantry officer in the U.S. Army, earning the rank of Captain. Josh earned his J.D. cum laude from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and his bachelor’s degree in accountancy from the University of Notre Dame.
