This session will focus on recent federal tax updates along with highlighting the key federal tax items that will be addressed, or not, upon the forthcoming sunset of certain of the TCJA provisions. This will include an update on key United States Supreme Court cases such as Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo and Moore v. United States, as well as legislative guidance issued during the past year and any late breaking tax developments.

This session will highlight recent New Hampshire tax developments, then pivot to focus on a more multistate picture of common tax issues faced by companies in employing and deploying remote workforces. For ex., multistate income tax withholding, nexus for other tax types (business income/franchise, gross receipts, sales/use taxes), etc.
Legal Considerations with Remote Workers
This session will explore some of the key legal considerations associated with remote workers such as wage and hour compliance and leave laws. Do you know which state laws apply to your client’s workforce?
