John Weaver
Director & Chair Real Estate Practice Group, McLane Middleton

John serves as outside real estate counsel to regional and national companies, overseeing the management, financing, and expansion of their real estate holdings. In that role, he develops strategic plans for clients’ real estate assets and coordinates with local counsel across the country to effectively implement those plans, protecting and leveraging clients’ holdings. He also represents clients in all manner of discrete real estate transactions in the north of Boston market, including sales, acquisitions, leases, easement negotiations, and municipal land use applications before zoning, planning, and select boards. John frequently works with in house and outside real estate counsel on stand-alone projects where local counsel is beneficial.

Mark Fallon
Director of Research & Strategy, Hunneman Commercial Real Estate

Mark Fallon is the Director of Research & Strategy at Hunneman Commercial Real Estate, based in Boston. He has extensive experience in research, strategy, and analysis with a focus on real estate acquisition, project finance, and process improvements. He oversees all aspects of research for the firm including quarterly reports, market analyses, white papers, and client presentations. He also focuses on tracking macroeconomic & microeconomic trends that impact commercial real estate locally, nationally, and globally. He has previous experience advising clients on acquisition, disposition, development, and site selection(s). He is a frequent contributor to industry publications such as The Boston Globe, The Boston Business Journal, Banker & Tradesman, & The Real Reporter.

Maria Zeqo
Vice President, Community Business Banking, Salem Five

Maria has been part of Salem Five since September of 2019, and has nearly 20 years of financial services experience that she brings to bear for the benefit of businesses throughout the region. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University in Finance and Accounting and then spent over ten years managing retail teams at a few area banking institutions. Maria has a rich history emigrating from Albania and speaks multiple languages (Albanian, Spanish, Greek, English), which allows her to reach a broader clientele and build closer relationships with customers. She has a positive outlook on life and work and truly loves what she does. She believes in being a constant learner and has completed one year programs in both the Massachusetts Bankers Association New England School for Financial Studies (NESFS) as well as the Commercial Lending Credit Analysis Apprenticeship Program. Outside of work, she is a proud mother of two and enjoys spending every minute with them, including playing volleyball. Interior design and fashion are her hidden hobbies, along with spending time outdoors.
