McLane Middleton attorneys Adam M. Hamel and Alexandra L. Geiger will be presenting on the Massachusetts Pregnant Workers Fairness Act at two upcoming events for the Northeast Human Resources Association – a webinar on April 30, 2018 and a seminar on May 31, 2018 in the firm’s Woburn office.
The Act, which took effect on April 1, 2018, provides broad protections for pregnant women and nursing mothers in the workplace. As part of their presentation, Adam and Ali will address how the law has changed and what employers must do to be in compliance with the Act.
Adam is a director in McLane Middleton’s Litigation Department, concentrating his practice in the areas of business, employment and probate litigation. Adam regularly assists clients on a variety of commercial and employment litigation matters, including claims of wrongful termination, discrimination, and violations of restrictive covenants.
