Attorney Adam Hamel to Present at New England Practice Management Conference

Attorney Adam M. Hamel will be speaking at the New England Practice Management Conference, sponsored by the Massachusetts Society of CPAs on Thursday, November 21st. Adam will be providing an overall employment update for Massachusetts, including the new Massachusetts Pay Transparency requirements signed into law on July 31, 2024, and an update on the state of noncompetition agreements in light of the recent court decision striking down the FTC’s noncompete rule.  This informative session will provide CPAs with timely information about evolving employment laws in Massachusetts.

Adam is a director in McLane Middleton’s Litigation Department and vice chair of the firm’s Employment Law Practice Group, concentrating his practice in the areas of business, employment and probate litigation. He regularly assists clients on a variety of commercial and employment litigation matters, including claims of wrongful termination, discrimination, and violations of restrictive covenants.
