McLane Middleton attorneys Charla Bizios Stevens and Adam M. Hamel will be presenting at the Massachusetts Society of CPAs’ Nonprofit Conference on January 24, 2017 at the Sheraton Hotel in Framingham, Massachusetts.
During the session, entitled “Employment Law Update,” Adam and Charla will discuss recent developments and changes in workplace law, as well as an update on the status of the proposed changes to the FLSA and a forecast of what may be to come in 2017.
Charla is the Chair of the firm’s Employment Law Practice Group. Charla also practices in the Education and Health Care practice groups at McLane Middleton. She has extensive background addressing litigated and non-litigated employment issues such as discrimination, harassment, employee classification and wage and hour claims. She assists employers in responding to labor audits, preparing personnel policies and minimizing risk in the hiring, discipline and termination of employees. Adam is a director in McLane Middleton’s Litigation Department, concentrating his practice in the areas of business, employment and probate litigation.
