The law firm of McLane Middleton, Professional Association congratulates attorney Jennifer L. Parent on being named President of the National Conference of Bar Presidents’ (NCBP) Executive Council – https://ncbp.site-ym.com/page/1819_Officer.
The NCBP was founded in 1950 to provide information and training to state, local, metro, and specialty bar association leaders from across the country. Its primary mission is to provide high-quality programming to current bar leaders at two meetings held each year contemporaneously with the annual and midyear meetings of the ABA. NCBP provides resources for bar leaders on leadership, innovation, and collaboration. Presentations and workshops have focused on changes in the practice of law, how to put on a hackathon, cybersecurity, and community outreach as well as “bread and butter” subjects and issues like membership expansion, continuing education, access to justice, and diversity and inclusion. NCBP also offers a webinar series through its 21st Century Lawyer programming and awards diversity scholarships for membership to bar leaders.
