Jennifer L. Parent will be presenting on recent U.S. Supreme Court cases at the New Hampshire Bar Association’s 15th annual Labor & Employment Law Update on April 14, 2016 at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord, N.H.
This full day event will address the cutting edge developments in employment and benefits law over the past year. Topics include a Supreme Court update, update on implementation of health care reform, developments in discrimination law, developments in New Hampshire wage and hour and workers’ compensation law, proposed changes to the FLSA White Collar Exemptions and other regulatory developments under the FLSA, and the most recent developments at the NLRB impacting the non-union workplace.
Jennifer is a director at McLane Middleton and chairs the firm’s litigation department. She has over 20 years of experience litigating and resolving disputes for companies and business owners in a wide range of commercial cases and employment matters. Jennifer has represented employers in the areas of employment discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful termination, contract, wages, trade secrets, non-competition, and non-solicitation. She has also represented companies in employment and tax abatement matters at the agency level and conducted workplace trainings and discrimination investigations.
