Margaret R. Kerouac will be presenting at the New Hampshire Bar Association’s Small Business and Divorce continuing legal education seminar on March 24, 2016 in Concord, N.H.
The seminar will educate divorce practitioners of all experience levels on the issues involved in the divorces of business owners. The issues discussed will include: impact entity structure, calculation and treatment of business income, valuation methodologies, discovery strategies, as well as an overview of statutory and case law.
Margaret represents clients with substantial net worth, complex martial estates, businesses, professional practices, trust interests and diverse real estate holdings. Her practice centers upon the private, creative and client-centered resolution of family matters primarily through mediation, negotiation, collaborative law and other settlement techniques, but with the recognition that litigation and trial are sometimes necessary to resolve family disputes. Margaret handles a variety of disputes relating to parenting rights, property valuation and division, support, divorce, modification and many other matters. She is also experienced in the preparation of prenuptial agreements.
