McLane Middleton Adds Cristina Coletta Blau and Andrew Sutton to Growing Woburn Office

The law firm of McLane Middleton is pleased to announce the hiring of attorneys Cristina Coletta Blau and Andrew P. Sutton.

Cristina joins the firm as Of Counsel with the firm’s Trusts and Estates Department.  Her practice is focused on estate planning, wealth transfer and tax planning, trust and estate administration and charitable planned giving.  Her estate planning practice involves the creation and analysis of complex custom-drafted trusts as well as plans for individuals and families who are at the outset of their estate planning journey.  As part of her practice, Cristina provides support to members of McLane Middleton’s litigation team in connection with complex probate litigation cases.

Cristina is a Trustee of The Concord Free Public Library Corporation where she is a member of the Endowment Committee and chairs The Charles Williams Scholarship Committee.  She is a Corporator of Emerson Hospital in Concord and serves on the Planned Giving Committee.  Cristina is a longtime member of the Harvard Alumni Association Board of Directors and is the editor and creator of “Happy Days,” an anthology of Reflections about Harvard Commencement written by members of the Harvard community, published by Harvard University in December of 2021.

Andrew is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group and a member of the Cybersecurity and Privacy Group.  Andrew has experience across a wide variety of complex commercial real estate matters including: acquisitions and dispositions; financing; land use, permitting, and development; landlord and tenant leasing; property disputes; joint venture agreements and corporate structuring; historic rehabilitation tax credits; telecommunications; renewable energy installations; and cutting edge issues related to the digitization of real estate.  Andrew regularly represents property owners, developers, investors, landlords, tenants, and financial institutions with respect complex negotiations and due diligence including the identification and resolution of title issues, environmental concerns, liens and entitlements. Andrew has significant experience representing property owners before city councils, select boards, planning boards, zoning boards, and other municipal bodies.

As a cybersecurity and privacy attorney, Andrew conducts risk assessments of clients’ security controls and prepares reports that identify both vulnerabilities and strategies to address those vulnerabilities.
