The law firm of McLane Middleton announced today that Steve Camerino will join the firm as Chief Executive Officer.
Camerino most recently served as CEO of New Hampshire Electric Cooperative (NHEC). Prior to joining NHEC he spent over 30 years as an attorney at McLane Middleton.
As McLane Middleton’s CEO, Steve will be responsible for the firm’s operational, financial, marketing and human resource functions and will work closely with the firm’s management team on day to day operations and strategic initiatives. Steve will succeed Cathy Schmidt, who will be retiring in August of 2021. Schmidt joined the firm as its CEO in 2013.
“We are excited to welcome Steve back to McLane Middleton as CEO,” said Barry Needleman, McLane Middleton’s Managing Director. “He brings a wealth of executive management experience from his time as CEO at NHEC as well as a familiarity with the firm. We are incredibly grateful to Cathy Schmidt for her leadership. She led the firm during a time of growth and with a strong commitment to clients, community service and colleagues. We wish her the very best in her retirement.”
