McLane Middleton, Professional Association donated 100 shoes and school supplies in March as part of its year-long Centennial celebration focused on its clients, the community, and its colleagues.
The firm donated 50 pairs of shoes to Girls Inc. of New Hampshire and 50 18-piece school supply sets to Girls Inc. of Greater Lowell.
Each month during 2019, the firm makes a donation to the community based on the number “100.”
In partnership with schools and at centers, Girls Inc. focuses on the development of the whole girl. She learns to value herself, take risks, and discover and develop her inherent strengths. The combination of long-lasting mentoring relationships, a pro-girl environment, and research-based programming equips girls to navigate gender, economic, and social barriers, and grow up healthy, educated, and independent. Informed by girls and their families, we also advocate for legislation and policies to increase opportunities and rights for all girls.
The delivery to Girls Inc. of New Hampshire was made by Wilbur A. Glahn, III, a director in the firm’s Litigation Department and Cathleen A. Schmidt, the firm’s executive director and CEO. Christine M. O’Brien, an associate in the firm’s Corporate Department, dropped of the school supplies to Girls Inc. of Greater Lowell.
