Peg O’Brien will present at an all-day seminar, “Nonprofit Law in New Hampshire,” sponsored by the New Hampshire Bar Association on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. Peg will be joined by other experts to provide guidance on the laws governing the incorporation, tax-exempt status, and governance of nonprofit organizations as well as the laws governing employees, volunteers and contractors in nonprofit organizations.
Peg is a Director at McLane Middleton and Chair of the Employment Law Practice Group. She assists employers with legal compliance and risk management in all phases of the employment relationship, as well as defense of employers in matters pending before government agencies and courts. Peg also provides training for employees and supervisors on harassment prevention and documentation and discipline best practices and conducts independent workplace investigations. Peg is a former Chair of the NH Bar’s Labor & Employment Section and current Legislative Director for the HR State Council of NH.
