McLane Middleton attorney Ramey D. Sylvester will be presenting at the Boston Bar Association on “Immigration Considerations for Mergers & Acquisitions” on January 15, 2019 in Boston, Mass.
The session will offer practical tips for assessing the immigration compliance needs related to corporate mergers and acquisitions, including H-1B and L-1 nonimmigrant employment compliance, employment based green card concerns, and basic I-9 strategies for successor entities.
Ramey is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Department and a member of the firm’s Immigration Practice Group. Ramey assists small and large companies with mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, entity formation and restructuring, private securities offerings, and commercial contract negotiations. She represents clients in an array of business and family immigration matters including naturalization applications, H-1B petitions, employment based green card petitions, and I-9 enforcement actions.
