Abramson’s Expertise a Boon to Firm’s Immigration and International Trade Groups!
May 30, 2006, MANCHESTER, NH— The law firm of McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton, P.A., with offices in Manchester, Portsmouth, and Concord, is pleased to announce that Ron Abramson has joined the firm as of counsel. Working in the Corporate Law Group, he will focus on matters involving immigration and international trade.
Ron brings a varied experience to McLane, with a background in immigration, litigation, international trade consulting and academia. He began his career with the New Hampshire Public Defender Program, before establishing himself as one of the State’s preeminent immigration lawyers. Ron has handled business, family and criminal immigration matters, taught at national training programs and litigated several cases before the U.S. Circuit Courts. He recently returned from nearly two years in his native Chile, where he arrived as a Fulbright Scholar to teach courses relating to Chilean legal reforms. While in Chile, Ron also worked as an international trade consultant after being appointed New Hampshire’s Commercial Consul to Chile by Gov. John Lynch. He has advised a wide-range of businesses concerning the implications of the U.S.-Chile Free Trade Agreement, distribution agreements, contracts and intellectual property matters. He is fluent in Spanish, and speaks some French.
Ron is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association, American Inns of Court, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and the U.S.-Chile Chamber of Commerce. A native of Santiago, Chile, he was named one of New Hampshire’ms most promising young leaders by the Manchester Union Leader’s 40 Under Forty program in 2004.
Ron’s education includes a Bachelor of Arts in English and Philosophy from Emory University. He received his Juris Doctorate from George Washington University. In addition, he serves as an adjunct professor in the Graduate Programs at Franklin Pierce Law Center.

A leader in the local Hispanic business community, Ron has served on the Board of Directors for the Latin American Center, and was a founding Board Member of Vote Now New Hampshire Hispanics. He is also involved in Vision Hispana, Manchester’s Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
Ron lives in Contoocook, New Hampshire with his wife, Tina Abramson, former executive director of the NH Bar Foundation, and their three children Ron is an avid soccer player, coach and fan, who also enjoys reading, writing and outdoor sports.
