Attorney Shiva Karimi was confirmed to the leadership team of the Boston Bar Foundation’s Board of Trustees for the 2023-24 program year. The Foundation’s mission is to promote justice by funding and promoting innovation in the delivery of legal services; facilitating access to legal counsel in underserved communities and supporting the public service projects and pro bono work of the Boston Bar members.
Shiva counsels businesses on acquiring and retaining talent and key employees from outside the United States. Global businesses and small local businesses alike require workers from abroad, and Shiva develops creative strategies for navigating the complex U.S. immigration system. She also advises employers in immigration compliance matters and assists employers in responding to audits and investigations.
