The law firm of McLane Middleton is pleased to announce that attorneys Robert J. Kendall III, Lauren C. Kilmister, Kelsey A. Maillett, Christine M. O’Brien, Amanda E. Quinlan, and Susan E. Schorr have been admitted to the New Hampshire State Bar.
Rob Kendall is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department. He handles a variety of civil and criminal litigation matters.
Rob received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School (2018), and his B.S., summa cum laude, from Roger Williams University (2014). Prior to joining McLane Middleton, Rob served as a judicial intern to the Hon. Juan R. Torruella of the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit in 2016. During law school, Rob served as an associate editor of the Michigan Journal of Law Reform. Rob also served as a student attorney in Michigan Law’s Federal Appellate Litigation Clinic, where he authored and reviewed briefs and en banc petitions before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and petitions for writ of certiorari before the Supreme Court of the United States. During his time with the Clinic, Rob argued a criminal appeal before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Amanda Quinlan is also an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department and a member of the Education Law and Probate Litigation Practice Groups. She assists clients with various civil litigation matters, including commercial litigation and education law matters.
Amanda received her J.D. from Vermont Law School (2018), where she graduated first in her class and was the recipient of the Learned Hand Award for Academic Excellence. Amanda also served as the Editor in Chief of Vermont Law Review. She received her B.A., magna cum laude, in European Studies from Middlebury College (2010) and her M.A. in Political Science from Johann Wolfgang Goethe Universitat in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Kilmister, Maillett, and O’Brien are all associates practicing in the firm’s Corporate Department.
Lauren C. Kilmister’s practice involves representing individuals and businesses on entity formation, financing transactions, and contract drafting and review. As a member of the Real Estate Practice Group, Lauren also works on residential and commercial real estate matters for clients, including real estate purchases, sales, leases, and financing.
Lauren earned her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law with a Concentration in Business and Commercial Law (2018) and her B.A., magna cum laude, from Saint Michael’s College in Political Science and Environmental Studies (2015). While in law school, Lauren worked full-time at co-op placements for three months each at the Office of Attorney General Maura Healy, a Boston-based law firm specializing in renewable energy project development, and international food and beverage company, and McLane Middleton’s Woburn, Massachusetts, office. Kelsey A. Maillett is a member of the firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Group. She provides counsel to a wide variety of clients on matters including mergers and acquisitions, entity formation, contract drafting, general corporate governance and private equity.

Susan Schorr is of counsel at McLane Middleton. With a background as a social worker and current trustee of several non-profit organizations herself, Susan approaches client challenges in a holistic and detail-oriented manner.
