McLane Middleton attorney Susan E. Schorr will be presenting at the Global Education Benchmarking Conference on April 6, 2019 in Atlanta, Georgia.
Susan will be collaborating with Bill Frederick of Lodestone Safety International for her debut at the GEBG annual conference. The pair will deliver a presentation, “What’s in Your Strategy? Health, Safety and Security to Minimize Legal Exposure During Student Travel” which will emphasize how student travel preparation can minimize legal exposure if/when something goes awry when traveling internationally with independent school students. They will work a number of scenarios from both a safety and a legal perspective and discuss what interventions could have either prevented the incident or mitigated the potential legal fallout.
Susan is Of Counsel at McLane Middleton. She finds solutions to legal questions and challenges faced by independent schools and social service organizations, and conducts and manages investigations when serious misconduct is alleged. Grounded in thorough legal analysis, she offers practical advice and responsiveness.
