On behalf of the Paralegal Association of New Hampshire, Vicki A. Samuels was part of a panel discussion at Middlesex Community College’s Paralegal Career Night on March 29, 2017.
The purpose of the event was to provide the students with an overview of a paralegal’s responsibilities. As part of the conversation, the panel discussed a wide variety of topics, including:
- Describing daily tasks
- How they interact with attorneys, other paralegals, clients and third parties
- How they found their current and past paralegal positions
- The most rewarding and challenging aspects of the job
- What they wish they knew when they were in school
Vicki is a Certified Paralegal with McLane Middleton’s Trust and Estate Department. She assists attorneys and clients in a variety of matters, including estate administration, trust administration and funding, and federal and state estate tax return preparation. Vicki currently serves as Treasurer and Director of the Paralegal Association of New Hampshire. She is a member of the National Association of Legal Assistants, National Federation of Paralegal Associations, Paralegal Association of New Hampshire and Massachusetts Paralegal Association. Vicki earned her Certified Paralegal designation from the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) in 2007. Vicki also serves as a Notary Public for the State of New Hampshire.
