Christopher represents a variety of domestic and international manufacturing and service businesses, from start-up and emerging companies to industry leaders, and counsels his clients across a broad spectrum of business law areas relating to corporate governance, creditors’ rights, distressed asset acquisition, commercial bankruptcy, and out-of-court business restructuring and liquidation. He collaborates with clients on structuring, negotiating, and documenting commercial transactions and a variety of contractual relationships.
Christopher’s past experience leading a food manufacturing company gives him unique insight into the business and regulatory challenges facing small businesses and entrepreneurs.
Christopher joined the firm in 1998. Christopher received his B.A. from Middlebury College and his J.D. from Cornell Law School. Prior to law school, he worked in Washington, D.C. for six years in a variety of capacities, including positions with the Department of the Interior and with the White House during the administration of George H.W. Bush.
